I think my problem is unique and I hope I can solve it asap. I've recently bought a Bluetooth headset ( LG BLUETOOTH STEREO HEADSET HBS-730). It worked perfectly on all devices, which provide Bluetooth feature, at home. It even worked on LG computer (OS windows 7 home premium) perfectly. I use Dell Inspiron model N5110 and windows home premium operating system. the problem is:when I pair my BT headset with my computer I hear a perfect sound for few seconds then I begin to hear a broken up sound whatever I play or talk through. I used other type of BT headset but the same problem still there, what made me sure that the problem is from my PC. wire headset work perfectly and the speakers of the computer as well.

my clients are xp and seven.
after 1 week some junk files apeared in my folder.
I deleted them but another files apear after some days.

i can't access my windows server 2008 R2 because my administrator password doesn't work.
i didn't login my server for along time. i mean i didn't need to login because every thing work corectly.
i changed password and login with replace cmd and utility manager but I want to know why?
why windows changed my password or locked my account?

Who uses all our Internet
Hello everybody
I run a Microsoft 2008 Server. I have my own buisness and so I have some workers.
When i hire them they can have there own computers with them to work, to work faster and feel better about working here, and i t is easier for them to take the work with them home if they want to. And so they leave me their Mac-adresses so they have acces to the net.
BUT, i have noticed that our Internet, sometimes run really slow. I then started to work on it, and looked at the routers and at the server. But i did not find anything wrong. that was until i saw that a worker was downloading a movie.
Now i dont wanna see what people are doing, but i have heard that Server 2008 can in fact see what IP or Mac address that is using up all the Internet.
I dont know how i can go in and see that, so please if someone has a good guide to how i use Server 2008 for that purpose, then please write.

Turn off the power on my computer automatically.
I now turn my computer off with a timer and I feel that this serves no good outcome.
Can I have the computer shut off automatically at say 9PM daily, and how can I do this.

Extend the partion in Windows 2003
Hi,
I have try to extend the partition on server 2003 with Diskpart utility but its not successfully done. Please suggest and I have mentioned the steps that I followed.
To extend a basic volume
1. Open Command Prompt.
2. Type:
diskpart
3. At the DISKPART prompt, type:
list volume
Make note of the number of the basic volume you want to extend.
4. At the DISKPART prompt, type:
select volume n
Selects the basic volume, n, you want to extend into contiguous, empty space on the same disk.
5. At the DISKPART prompt, type:
extend [size=n]
Extends the selected volume by size=n megabytes (MB).
Please correct any thing is wrong.

Replacement for Hamachi
Hello Everyone,
I have been using Hamachi 2 ever since WHS has come out. Logmein is dropping the free version and I can't seem to find a replacement that works like Hamachi to be able to backup a computer at a different location on different network automatically. So does anyone have any ideas.

HP MediaSmart Server EX495:- Restore Back Up Stops At 81%, you need to format disk in drive Z before you can use it ?
I have been looking for a fix for this for months. Just spent 2 days determined to get past this road block. Tried every suggested fix I could read about. Still at the same dead end. Can anyone help me get this server running again ? HP

Bug Report: 1 Minutes Remaining
I can no longer post bug reports via Microsoft Connect so I hope this is the appropriate place.
This bug occurs during the restoration process of a client PC. When the estimated amount of time remaining is 1 minute, the restoration wizard displays "1 minutes" instead of the gramatically correct "1 minute".
I am running the Windows Home Server RC with its corresponding restore cd.
This bug is easily reproduced by running the restoration process on a client PC.

EX470 Server Recovery - RAW and purple
My EX470 won't boot. Symptom: Power & Network lights blue, Health light flashing blue + off. I have 3 2TB drives installed besides the original .5TB system drive. I have duplication turned on for all shares.
With power off, I removed each drive in turn to attempt to copy the data to another machine. System drive looks OK, found hidden DE folder in DATA partition, but the data is just old data. The newer data must be on other drives. Two of the other drives show
up as RAW, and can't be used by another machine without being formatted (they should contain data that I would like to access, and I was expecting them to be NTFS, with hidden DE folders). The remaining drive is formatted NTFS and empty.
I was expecting to be able to be able to read each of the drives. Why do two of them show up as being RAW format?
I have tried doing System Recovery with the original system drive and with a new unused drive, with the same result:
System Recovery s/w gets to the phase where it says the server will reboot a few times and it might take 5 minutes or more. WHS does indeed reboot at least once and becomes stable with Power & Network lights blue, Health light purple, and all drive lights
purple. System Recovery s/w has exited.
I don't seem to have a working system. I really do want to recover my data. What step do I take next?
Any help would be much appreciated.

Silent Installs
I am trying to send some programs into silent installs after configuring MDT 2013 to deploy these. Applications such as adobe reader, google chrome, java and filezilla don't seem to work, even with command-line codes. I don't have the extra resources to
purchase software to do so. Any info would be appreciated.

Can't permanently remove English (United States) language
I'm using English (New Zealand) as the default language on my WHS and associated computers. The WHS keeps resetting its default language to English (United States) even though I've repeatedly removed this language both from the console and RDP.
Every time I access the WHS by either method following a restart, I am faced with the language bar. In the console, I can turn off the bar and remove the US language (following a prompt that US English is in use and will be removed following a restart/logoff), and this will persist until the next time the WHS is restarted. This means that the next time I log into the console, the language bar is gone, and presumably NZ English is being used. After restarting the WHS system and opening the console again, US English is back to being the default language.
This is the same behavior I see when connecting to the WHS using RDP. I can remove US English (following the same prompt), logoff from RDP, and immediately reconnect and find US English is again present and used as the default language. Auuuugh!
How can I get this language removed "permanently"? I tire of seeing the language bar and I wish the OS would recognize that US and NZ English are not different enough to require bothering me with language selections.

Computer lags or crashes randomly all the time after rebuild.
So some time ago my computer crashed and i had to replace the hard drive. I gave it to a friend because I did not have the time to do it myself and when I got the computer back it started acting up. My computer would at random times do one of two things which are freeze up entirely for about 5 seconds and then unfreeze and play a weird robotic buzz sound, or it will play a loud buzzing sound and crash kinda like how a bsod works but not a bsod just a frozen screen and the only fix is to hold the power button.
This issue occurs randomly the last time i had the five second freeze was 20 minutes ago and has happened probably five times in the past week. However I the last time i crashed was maybe five days ago and literally iv had the computer crash three times in one day and then one time in two weeks its crazy.
Oh also my friend had to replace both ram cards because they were fried most likely a bad power cable.

- Five second freeze followed by buzzing sound and all is good.
- Complete freeze and loud buzzing sound hard restart is only fix.

- hard drive changed from 500 gig to 1 terabyte western digital.

-8 gigs of ram (originally had 4 upgrades to 8 then had crash and both replaced)
- 1 terabyte hard drive Hester Digital (originally "500G 7200rpm SATA, Hitachi")
- windows 7 ultimate 64 bit (originally windows 7 home premium 64 bit)
I don't know how this site works but IL probably get emails on reply's so I am a computer tech but this has stumped me to ask for any info you want I can easily get you cpu-z information and event logs.

after a new installation im triyng to read old shares folder from the old disk but appear this message : " The file can not be accessed by the system " and i only read the title of the file and i can't open or move it.
I hope in a resolution, i have all my documents stored there ! :(

81% error mounting backup
Noticed I'm getting the error at 81% too. But realize it's only happening on one machine, so will try reinstalling the whs client.

WHS hangs at 81% when restoring
When restoring a 1.5GB drive from the server, systerm hangs then freezes at 81%.
Tried all kiinds of things to no avail. Just reinitialized the Server, and removed and reinstalled connection manager on client - same problem. Seems to work when trying to restore a 250GB HD. This problem started when I changed the C drive from a 250GB to a 1.5TB drive.
Running XP Pro on client
